Last Kiss

Last Kiss

A Poem by Indian Ink

One day we would lean against each other,
Like the twain solitary birds,
And share and inspire the kaleidoscopic vistas of our cascading memories.
Your exhaled breath will warm my wrinkled skin,
My fragile eyelids will lay my eyes into yours
I will sing you the song of our first meet,
Shiveringly you will plant that passion fueled kiss on my creased forehead,
Your hands will be around me like those wings of an erne,
And slowly we will both pave our way to Azrael's lane.

You’re undoubtedly a great poet, Indian Ink (should I call you this?) The first sentence stole my complete focus with a simile of the ‘twain solitary birds’, whilst the rest of the piece delivers a beautiful expression of romance with stunning imagery… Had a wonderful read. Thanks for the share.

The story itself is amazing, its been a long, long time since I've seen anything like this. I read the whole thing and its good. The mechanics could be better but the storyline is excellent.
