The Life of a PoetA Poem by Timothy FarrisThis poem randomly came to me while I was watching the Medical Channel! Cx
The Life of a Poet,
Is like no other, Most people don't know it, I was raised by my mother, I'm merely underage, But I still drink, To avoid the pain, When I start to think, I'm turning out to be like my father, Which I'm greatly embarrassed, The only thing this pen can't do, Is seal my own casket, A student by day, Alcoholic by night, No matter what people say, I'll never see the light
