Shoes

Shoes

A Poem by Luna Eclipse
"

I made this in my English class

"
Following the death of these children
Oh the story their lives tell
Sad, alone, and abused were each
Forever looking for release

One was a girl
A very lovely girl
Pretty, smart, and very kind
She loved a guy
A popular guy
But he publicly humiliated her
She was laughed at
Bullied all the time
She finally had enough
And took her own life

One was a boy
A mentally unstable boy
Hearing strange voice,
Seeing horrible things
Always outlasted as a freak
He couldn't afford to get help
Trying but always failing
He too took his own life

Next was a girl
A loving girl
Popular and loved by all
She was rich and stuck up
But still loved by all
Her parents fought
Her parents were quickly losing money
She designed clothes to continue looking rich
Her parents fought
The car tipped over
She died

Next was a boy
A very sporty boy
A boy who loved sports
He was on every team
Captain of every team
But there was a problem
He used steroids
Too many steroids
Again and again he did
But one day he used too much
And fell hard to cold death

None of these children ever met
None of these children are alike
But they all left something behind
Shoes
These shoes told their story
I heard their stories from these shoes
I hope they rest in peace
I pray they rest in peace
And maybe one day...
Hopefully...
They are happy that I told their stories
