I have seen the world

I have seen the world

A Poem by Deepshikha

Oh -- I have seen the world--
And the world has seen me--
I have shown it my foot--
But it only embraced me;
I tried to hole through the earth--
But I only came back here--
I've seen much -- much too much--
And now I have nothing to fear;
But the world keeps at it--
And I fight back with blood--
But it will win me over--
And I will sleep soundly -- in mud.

i love that your poetry is so traditional, its as if your keeping alive the great poets of the past. The message is profound, though i'm contemplating as to how you came about this concept..for your picture indicates your age to be no more than 16? (sorry if im way off) and i mean i guess i'm not one to judge whether you've traveled the world or experienced many cultures or not, but how is it that you have seen the world? --a genuine curiosity, not a judgement.
