Snow Dance

Snow Dance

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

There's too much of warmth, and not enough soul...

"
There's too much of warmth, and not enough soul,
I feel like I'm drowning, smothered in sand;
Each moment ticks by, and I feel less whole,
"Keep moving forward," but I MUST command.

I know of another side of the rain -
She's taught me to feel such strength of a kind -
But first I must drop down, show no disdain;
I'm calling the snows - I've made up my mind.

Hands in the air, chanting and dancing; this
psyche breaks free - romancing, enchanting;
I feel life once more when chills turn to bliss
The rain turns to snow, I'm finally king.

No longer numb, I'm kissing pure snow;
Breathing at last, I play in the snow.
