Seeking, Never FindingA Poem by DeepshikhaSearching, searching...I have been searching,
searching for something, scaling august mountains, listening to the seas. I looked in the tiniest hole, using my eyes to gently probe, and sat in dark silence, holding nothing of my own. But will I keep seeking, are these answers never found? Must I forever wander to places untouched by man? I've picked baby flowers, and I've taken life in my hands; each time I've grown wiser, but my answer I've never seen. Even Death has followed me, and he nearly took me for his own; I've seen the macabre and the gory, yet my answer never comes. But I'll keep on searching, because what else can I do? and even if my journey never ends, my answer will still lie untouched. © 2010 DeepshikhaAuthor's Note
