Elephant Tears

Elephant Tears

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

It's messed up, this situation. It makes no sense. And I keep going.

"
mountains are
crumbling in
side my head

moons will start
waning as
I break bread

holistic
approaches-
they have failed

bloodhounds keep
following
since I dared

to dig deep
far under
no mistakes

elephant
tears, pristine;
right stakes

but real fear
still awaits
and She digs

deeper in
while I break
Dreamer's gigs.

Yeah. This sucks.
