Marred by Peace

It's only war. It's happened before. It'll happen again, will it not?

Endless tears will fall tonight,

Falling on grounds bloody-white;

Faces of war, marred by peace,

Will life never be at ease?

 

A vicious cycle,

Thundering away,

Nothing to stop it,

Convinced not to stray.

 

Flames of time, fanned by fate,

Crimson minds, turning to hate;

Lo! What a sight to behold,

Finally, cold hearts have sold.

 

Nothing left to see,

It's been done before;

Minds so numb to pain,

No longer lives Shame.
