Snow, Snow, Snow.

Snow, Snow, Snow.

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

Snow, so pretty, so delicate, such an awe-full thing.

"

Powdered sugar,

Falling faster;

Quickly, quickly-

More fervor than before.

Angel dust,

Hiding hot, lonely lust;

Hide! Hide!

Most shameful deeds.

Little faeries,

Laying upon beasts quite hairy;

Melting, melting-

Matted, wet fur.

Flaky dandruff,

Coating her hero’s scruff;

Scritch, scratch-

God asks for shampoo.

Crystalline water,

Breaking free of sky’s bounds;

Drifting, floating-

Nestled in grassy forests.

Baby clouds,

Clumping together;

Hugging, hugging-

Friends forever.

Brilliant snow,

Simply frozen water;

Settling, melting-

Prettier than ever before.

So it was snowing during math, then it was a torrential snow, then it was a sunny snow, and then it stopped. All in about five minutes.

I like the overall cadence of your lines. I also like your description of the snow. I agree on the powdered sugar observation. I think that you could take almost any one of these stanzas into a different piece, but they are still good as a group. Well done.
