Rainbow Burst

Rainbow Burst

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

The whales breathe, as they have for generations. A rainbow forms from their breath. Utterly beautiful.

"

puuuft!
a puff of mist, dancing
like frenzied rain
puuuft!
a rainbow burst
of ever fading colors
puuuft!
cool drops of steady
breaths, in and out
puuuft!
the cloud of life,
ever fading and ever forming
puuuft!
light pericing in a dense
mass of poofs
puuuft!
silence broken by
great children of the sea
puuuft!
but only one thing
can make sense of this chaos
puuuft!
the ever appearing colors,
a sacred covenant of life
