Time is NOT My Master

Time is NOT My Master

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

Try to dominate me, boy, 'cause you know you cant. Time, you can't control me.

"

Once upon a time, I was not who I am,

Having slammed into a rainbow critter, the baby alien wept 50 seconds into space.

Warped by a touch of my pinky finger, it ripples like the surface of a lake.

But that’s alright, for we’ve been there and back;

Time ticked and so did his shiny green blood.

The surface of the lack is broken by a tear, cracked like ice.

Flowers fall, but berries stand still,

Kelp strangled him as little “M”-shaped minutes giggled by.

Who will put it back together, freezing it into place, in the present?

Mirrors reflect the monkeys, but the men can’t see that…

Father times gazed longingly at her flowing green hair and sparkling blue eyes.

What can be accomplished by freezing time, never moving forward or backward?

“Yeah,” they say; “No,” said we. Time however, said nothing…

Spitting out grape juice, he climbed wearily into the pool of eternity.

Can anyone break away from the icy grip of cruel time?

Pirates can take a share; bloody Jack Sparrow can love me! Oh Time!

He threw his watch into a cup of coke, where it was picked up by Dracula.

I will heat it with the sun, melt the ice with life, so that it flows again.

They heard this blasphemy, and rolled in their fair graves and,

Despite being 186 years old, she won first place at the human-eating contest.

I will rid the cruel rules of unyielding time, so that even dark death will be welcomed.

Green ninjas can fall, and though blue samurai may weep blood to you,

He selfishly steals all of the hours from the crying little doldrums.

Time will fall to death, for even time must move to a rhythm, and fall into a pit.

I think you've got the gist of this format! Arah, Elaine, and I this time. Elaine's in Calibri, I'm in Tahoma, and Arah is in Times. [hehe. XD]
