Grasses Eating Tigers

Grasses Eating Tigers

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

It's all in the mind...all...in...the...MIND.

"

Rain trickled through green leaves as three elves danced

And then she tried, killing, spilling, bawling, falling.

With tears streaming down her purple face and matted green hair,

I didn’t know, and I didn’t think, for I didn’t care.

A great stench filled his saucer-like nostrils as he sneered,

Holding on for ages and lives, Gods falling in Devils’ grasps.

The hardest part was not swimming, trying to breathe, or looking at the teacher,

Flowers swimming in the back, and bribes of the winds of old.

Glaring up at the gray towering flamingo, he giggled and cackled

And I tried but I couldn’t, I cared but I didn’t.

She screamed in fury as banana pudding flew into her face,

And as I saw the dragons flying through the yellow, mellow air,

His skin changed from a lovely peach to a charming plumb.

Frogs nullifying physics and grasses eating tigers, what good is gold if I have none?

They mocked her hideous face and she broke into pieces of gold.

Pithy genies eating baked beanies, and I stared on in wonder.

Bursting into flames he gave a chilling call,

“Philosophia Latina; I still stare on in wonder. Oh dear! Pardon my blunder!”

The pirate shook his wooden leg as he fired all four guns,

All in the mind of our plucky little Sister Ah-choo.

This is a "write-a-line-cover-it-up-pass-it-on" poem, done by Elaine and I. Actually, this is our first ever poem like this. o_0
Anyway, Elaine's lines are in Verdana and I'm in Calibri. Enjoy!
