Unbreakable

Unbreakable

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

Not even death can stop me.

"

softly falling, bound
twisting, spinning, twirling, die
step to the fire

envision dancers
holding chains, breaking my soul
try to stop me now

now think to catch me
as if a deathly black whirl
cathing death's hand, blind

naught a small whisper
and I pray to your pyre
simply, carefully

for death starts to try
calling to my blackened heart-
unbreakable me.
