Mania Evolution

Mania Evolution

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

Patroclos is dead, by the hand of Hector. Achilles looses his sense, following the path of destiny. In the end, no one lives.

"

Beautiful silence, his tears bring love,

Promise given to his father by the Gods above;

Locked in friendship, forever and ever more,

Armor taken, bravery washing ashore.

Fallen hero, parted by death,

Mourning brother, catching his breath;

Like the fall of man, his sense falls short,

Like the love of man, he seeks avengement of tort.

Bound by fate, blackened by rage,

Trapped inside, locked inside an iron cage;

Heated passion, revenge, and murder,

Destiny the immortals herder.

This is way cool, I love it. :]
I agree with E.J. Stevens -- lots of good imagery! I love your word choice too; it makes a very beautiful poem.
I love the opening and the closing lines. They're very strong and they tie the poem together well.

Excellenttt work. ^^

Full of vivid imagery. I love it!

I'm especially fond of this line, "Armor taken, bravery washing ashore". It immediately brings to mind the folly of war no matter how brave the soldier.
