Mindless Tears, Another Sedation

Mindless Tears, Another Sedation

A Poem by Deepshikha
"

...a bit surreal, don't you think? Inspired by 'Our Truth' by Lacuna Coil...only the intro, though.

"

Hopelessly lost,

Waiting for love.

Flying away,

With white wings of a dove.

Knowing longing,

Hoping for sedation.

Wishing to be mindless,

Like the rest of the nation.

Wanting the escape,

To fall far, far away.

Trying to stand among those,

Who do naught but sway.

Wishing for the one,

Who'll might bring release.

Praying he comes,

Blowing away the trees.

Wiping golden tears,

So that they might not betray.

Standing strong,

Holding to another day.

I really like it the way it is. In my opinion, I don't think you should change anything. It flows really well and is a great overall poem! Great writing! :)
