Wannabe JapanseA Poem by DeepshikhaOh, how I love the Japanese. I love 'em, love 'em, love 'em!! This is also dedicated to those who died in the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945. (Atom bombs are sooo unnecessary.)Oh how I wish I was one of them, Those people from the Far East, Those from the Land of the Rising Sun. With their awesome mangakai, And their oh-so-cool anime, I wish I was one of them. How I love their kimonos, And how I "heart" their punkish ways. How I wish I could stand, Right underneath the shadow of Mount Fuji, And look at the sunrise, Amist a forest of Sakura. I want to go go a Bhuddist shrine, And maybe visit the tech of Tokyo. Dangnabbit, I wish I could be Japanese, Just so I could say, "I'm Japanese!" © 2008 DeepshikhaAuthor's Note
