My Stars

My friends...I love them so. You know who you are! (And somewhat inspired by Switchfoot's Stars.)

Like the the stars in the night sky,

They glitter and gleam.

They're all unique,

Though one united.

They're the stars of my life,

My very best friends.

Each one holding a special place.

One who can make me laugh,

No matter what I feel.

One who appreciates me,

Writing and all.

One who I can hug,

No matter when or where.

One who I can confide in,

Everything and anything.

One who is my alter ego,

My partner in crime.

One who I can laugh with,

And be crazy with.

One who I can be myself with,

Talkative and totally thoughtful.

These stars may be all I have,

After everything is gone.

Only two words,

My friends.

Author's Note

I'll be adding more and more to this poem so I can get all of my stars. It's soo hard to think of everyone at once. ^_^;
