Chpter Three: ~Death Be To Neji~

I think you'll find Neji simply horrendous, and Kiba ah-dorable.

I walked along the streets of Konoha, basking in the warm sun and the cool breeze. I thought I'd head over to HInata's house, but then, she'd probably be training with her team.

My own team?

I had no idea.

My sensei and one member had been sent on a long mission, and the other had become a missing-nin. But I was to get a replacement team from Irkura-sensei, but that hadn't rolled around yet. And besides, it was a Saturday, and I had no mind to train anyways.

After much self-debating, I decided to head over to the Konoha library and read.

 

After walking for a bit, I noticed a small white dog trailing at my feet. I bent down and held my hand out for the little thing.

Not only did it shiff, but it nuzzled against my arm and begged for me to pick him up. I happily obliged and put it on my shoulder, where it looked less freaked out.

"Where'd you come from?" I asked him as he buried my self in my sweatshirt. I only heard a whimper.

Behind me, I heard someone call out, "Akamaru!"

The snowball perked up.

"Is that your owner?" I asked him.

The dog barked.

"Well then," I said, setting him down. "Lead the way."
