About a boy who has two different personalities. Written when aged thirteen.

MULTIPLE MAN

This is this guy I know,
He’s pretty special.
And there’s this guy I know,
He’s pretty lame.
But the thing about these two guys is
They both go by the same name.

When we’re at school he’s like
The geekiest guy there.
Dresses strange, wears glasses
And has weird hair.
But when I go turn on my phone in the end
I’m so excited to be texting him.

Because he’s my
Multiple man (it may sound crazy but)
My multiple man (c-c-c-crazy little)
Multiple man (r-r-r-run as fast as you can)
From my multiple man

And when we text it’s like
I’m falling in love.
He brings the wings, the arrows
And the white dove.
And when we’re texting he just turns on the charm
And I have to remember to stay calm.

But the other day I
Bumped into him.
He was all clingy and all
Politics this.
I had to tell him just to back off a bit
I was not interested.

Because he’s my
Multiple man (it may sound crazy but)

He cheers me up when I’m
Feeling upset.
Or brings me lower than I
Thought I could get.
He’s got a multiple disorder I bet,
But I don’t want to upset

What a devil, what an angel,
What a charm, what a flirt,
What a blessing, what a headache,
What a low life piece of dirt.

The petals in bed
Trying desperately to

I’m trying to understand the
Things that he said

Should I love him or hate him?
Kiss him or kill him? Bless him or grill him?

Because he’s my
