Black Butler

Black Butler

A Poem by Truth

He stands in a dark corner,
the sultry waves of his hair
obscuring all emotion.
He watched her from the shadows,
his love for her growing stronger
every day.
She sees him too,
in that mysterious darkness,
and wonders who he is
behind the mask of indifference.
The rain falls upon her
and the thunder consumes her.
There is no escape.
But then a hand reaches
out from the shadows,
pulling her away from the pain.
For the first time she sees his eyes,
red and alluring.
She was waiting for him.
She needs him.
Together they stand beneath
the foggy moon
hidden from the world.
Here they stand, hand in hand,
guiding and protecting
in the mysterious darkness of love.
A Black Butler and his Mistress.
