Angel

Angel

A Poem by Shea

Kiss me like I'm an angel,
f**k me like I lost my wings,
baby, cut me open,
I don't care how much it stings,
hold me as I bleed,
don't let me fall asleep,
pet my hair like I'm your child,
and tell me it's a dream,
you know that I'm not clean, or pristine,
but each and every night,
moon high in the sky, stars shining so slightly,
droopy eyes with lack of life,
lay in your lap, everlasting demise,
hearing cries, nerves surprised,
exorcised, midnight black eyes,
but kiss me like I'm an angel,
f**k me like I lost my wings.
