Remember

Remember

A Poem by Shea

Remember all those many months ago,
we would sit under stars and watch them slow,
feel the cold, rough sand under our bare feet,
feel the water's beat as it washed and ebbed,
wind always picking up at the worst times,
falling over and saying we were fine,
but we were numb to any kind of pain,
we were not dumb, just young souls running free.

A wonderful write. The flow is good and the memories are very passionate.

"we were not dumb, just young souls running free."
Brings it to a nice and well fitting close. I really liked this one but I guess it's because I can relate to it so well. Remember is definitely the right title for this. It had a sort of laid back flow to it, what you'd probably expect to feel when remembering something with someone. I enjoyed it.
