The Chicken

The Chicken

A Poem by NathanRandomDude♥

He sits in the corner with a frown on his face,

his mother and father call him a disgrace,

no normal life , always living in fear

sometimes the taunts get nearer and nearer...

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken

He sits at home room covered in litter

His white thin skin makes him shine like glitter

he looks in his heart and finds his fight

the taunts have stopped in the back of his mind...

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken......

very good! your flow is fantastic and i especially like the first stanza. I would really like this extended it feels like theres so much more to the story! which is a great feeling to evoke in such few lines. one tiny suggestion if it suits you, I think "thin white skin" flows a little better there than "white thin skin" gets a bit rhymy rhymy when the flow of the rest is so on point

This is actually amazing, So many poeple can read it in different ways, yet i get the meaning of someone being taunted for being a 'chicken' xx
