Secret PlaceA Poem by NataliaFind out for yourself what this poem is about.
The moon's light beckoning me to come near.
It's reflection on the lake is crystal clear. The tall pink-blue trees, swaying softly in the breeze, The singing of the twilight creatures puts me at ease. I lie down in the soft green grass, I gaze at the lake once more, the surface smooth as glass. A tiny fairy, no bigger than my forefinger, Flutters by to a crowd of fireflies who linger. After playing with some dwarfs, I get up, finally ready to leave. But before I'm gone I turn back. It's always been my pet peeve. My mind full of sadness, not wanting to go. I finally turn away, ready to go away. But slow.
