NostalgiaA Poem by Natalie M writes...Not everyone can get away
All alone in the desolate land
The wind caressing my side Comforts me like a friend. However, he is a fickle fiend Comforting me yet chilling my bones. He is a gossamer; Sometimes seen, sometimes felt. He disappears. She comes raging in. Unable to not notice, she demands all of my attention. I fight with my mighty sword, but my black ink spilled over my words. She began to tug at my fingertips, coercing me to write about her. She is not welcomed in my temple I am the queen and I shall rule. But she is my dark shadow, who is always behind me. She is my conscience, watching my every move. She comments on what I do, now tugging at my heart strings. I can not fight her anymore. I can not find myself anymore. She has won this round in this ongoing battle. © 2014 Natalie M writes...Author's Note
