"everything happens for a reason" is a lie. it's just another thing made up by humans to comfort themselves. to shelter themselves from the realization of any choice you make does and will impact your life no matter what the outcome. the only "reason" that happened was because of free will. there's not always something positive that comes out of a s****y choice you made. that's luck. there is no "path" there is no future, there's no such thing as a plan. it's the moment you're in right now and what you're doing that can improve or worsen the moments to come by the option you choose. those are meaningless words and those who live their life relying on them are the same people who bed up w s****y lives and wonder why. why? "because everything happens for a reason"
