Piano

Piano

A Poem by Addict With a Pen
"

He taps his piano, as gentle as he can...

"

He taps his piano, as gentle as he can

Frowning as it sounds so low

A sadness arises he didn’t know he could feel

Shedding a single tear from sorrow

Not wanting the feeling to come back again

He wipes his tear off with his hand

Hiding from the darkness

Playing another sound, this time as high as he can

His piano made everyone dance along

The crowd never saw anything wrong

The darkness went away for now

But don’t worry, it’ll find its way back somehow

I does indeed. You have captured perfectly the feel of those low keys, playing the soundtrack to not only your heart, but soul too, with every note felt. Your subject here is perfectly captured with the emotion of the piano keys and the joy, as well as the lack of, each keystroke can bring. Perfectly captured emotion.
