Light of my life

Light of my life

A Poem by Nastia

Tell me bright light, is it you that I fear? Is it you that breaks me down? Or is it my fear of life that takes a toll on me? Is it my fear of the world that drives me away from you? Tell me, oh bright light, what does the future hold for me? Does my fear consume me? Or do I consume it? Tell me bright light, what is this life I live? Take away the pain I feel and the hurt I carry. Bring me the peace I seem to be unable to obtain. Protect my heart from the troubles of the world. Hold my hand and burn for me. Keep me sane and understand my pain. Guide my way, open my eyes. They feel so broken and blind.

This introspection was sharp and real...I appreciated the tone of unsureity...gave the meaning life and accentuated the authenticity!

Nicely done huny bum:)
