aloneA Poem by Nastia
She watches him leave. A tear in her eye. Remembering. Longin. For the times she had him close, close to her heart, close to her mind. She touched her skin and felt his touch. She closed her eyes and he was there. There with her. She heard the cold breeze telling her that he was gone and it was over. But the breeze adapted his voice, whispering sweet nothings into her ear. She turned her head, with her eyes still closed, as if to keep the voice away, though it only brought it closer, but she did not open her eyes. she did not want to lose the last bit of him she had left. The image deep in her mind. Of his hands around her. Of his face close to hers. Of his soft voice caressing her tender ears. So she stood. She merely stood. Realizing that it was all gone and knowing that it was all in her head now. She stood. With a tear in her eye she said her last goodbye to the face she could so clearly see and the touch she coulf so clearly feel, and the voice full of unkept promises. She said goodbye and opend her eyes. opened her eyes and dropped her arms. The cold wind came just in time to caress her flesh, let her know that she is now alone, the moon shinning down a picture of what used to be and what will never be again, and the air, the air speaking to her in a language that only her heart could understand, telling her that it was all over.
