![]() Stealing LemonsA Poem by N.A.The light is there but it’s weak smothered by cold air You’re still afraid We’d be miserable anyways I’m stealing lemons and breaking bonds I dreamt of burning it down I left dynamite in the house I can’t deal with it And running past me are eager teens I’m barely moving “What is happening?!” I never screamed It’s my brain itching it hurts to be nice I have no where to hide my body is now a show I don’t want to anymore And I’m angry again Until I regain my sympathies for you A kid with special needs caught me stealing from his lemon tree His mom got angry at him for yelling She didn’t see me hiding in the bushes I’m sorry for that for making her think You were crazy It’s sinking I’m sinking with it Darkness follows © 2013 N.A.Featured Review
