He hasn't said it but he looks at me like he's thinking it. He blinks more when he feels affection for me.
I can tell this emotion is almost overwhelming to him. He thinks he sees good in me but sometimes I think he only sees his own desires, hopes, ideals.
My skin must be like some sort of mirror. People tend just see themselves when they look at me.
Not sure if that is really beautiful.
People are weak sometimes, unable to be with themselves or with another person. It's like they project their fantasies onto another person and date that.
This piece is really deep. It is very ellusive in what exactly it is speaking of, thus it forces the mind to dive into areas of the inner self that don't see as much sunlight. We muse upon these words and come to many conclusions, most of which may never be right...or wrong, as we flow down the page, pondering the energy and hidden meanings behind the ink.
I think...
Overall this piece is about how people tend to imprint themselves onto others as a mode of safety. Thus we see the mirror of ourselves in others. This process isn't a healthy one, but is common in todays society.
At the same time, this piece conjures the image of a peeping tom watching through the 5th story window from the darkned rooftop across the way, watching a young man argue with himself infront of the mirror, and the peeping tom stars musing the human mind. =D
Great Ink! Makes ya think!
