When sunflowers dream

When sunflowers dream

A Poem by Ayan Rana

Sunflowers dream
of a world full of white light
where lies fail to flourish
mildews rot to its core

energy sores high
like a golden eagle
flying high below clouds
where airplanes glide.

yellow hue pours like

molten gold, pure and serene
touching softly on its stamens
bumble bees kissing its petals

Sunflowers dream of a world
full of red roses, singing songs
of love, strength and sacrifice
were trust prevails

white lies dies on the lap
of greed and jealousy twin sisters
born in the womb of ignorance,

with a fake umbilical cord

Sunflowers dream of a kingdom
ruled by non violence and sacrifice
breathing truth and tasting kindness
extending wings of fire to touch glowing sun

Nice poem, truly great. What doesnt make great is the line with aeroplane...you must have another something to relate from nature. because aeroplane is artificial
