And there we are, sharing secrets again like we might be the most priced box unopened.
The facade that we are a closed book gathering dust, when in reality our pages fall flat from overuse. Covered in love confessions, dressed in impulsive words, adorned with the most vile thoughts Our binds, which once held us together, now hold us in confinement. Strangling us, forcing us to remember the exact order in which we failed. I thought I was the key that locked the box, or at least the chain that held the key Not knowing all along I was the book left wide open
