I have a little bit of a crush

I always thought it was beautiful that you believed in the power of the stars.

And as I sit here,

Listening to your favorite music

And thinking of you hearing the same wonderfully dissonant melodies

And seeing you watch the lights in the sky dance in their world of absolute existence, searching them for a way to grow wings and fly,

The urge to tear out my heart and gift wrap it for you grows even louder

Until the point where I can see your eyes in the heavens

And I find myself wishing on one of your freckles.
