Passing

Passing

A Poem by Nancy Martin
"

Free style poetry about the passing of a loved one

"
Roll the stone in front of the tomb, wipe away the tears
We enter this life alone, as we leave it the same way
Truly, its what we do, in between these two times, that matters
The shell that was a being, is now a empty cask
Do not sit, and weep, they are not there, for now they sleep
Celebrate the time they shared,What they did, how much they cared
Remember days gone by, valued time, wasted time, now is not the time to cry
Its much to late for regrets, The pain, The loss, we must forget
The happy memories, the laughter, love, and joy, will lead the way
In our minds, and in our hearts, they will always stay
