Icicles

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Icicles

Glistening by night

Morning hears their battle cry

Sharp gleaming daggers

You paint a finely glistening image of these crystal visions. Beautiful with a bite!

I liked this, with the daggers and the battle cry. Short, sweet, and to the picture.

This made me laugh for some reason. I think it was the personification (and the picture); it made me think of sirens beautifully singing, beckoning to their victims. Beautiful and dangerous. Beautiful (though not as dangerous, *phew*) write.
