God placed a window

Behind your shinning eyes

A window to your soul

You can’t close in disguise

 

In awe I gaze deeply

Amazed at what I see

A heart of sheer poetry

I fall on bended knee

 

I see the love there

In the bluest window pane

Sparkling in the sun

And in the falling rain

 

I place this ring upon your hand

And pray you’ll say I do

The window behind your eyes

Spoke long before you said I love you
