A Peacocks View

A Peacocks View

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

A Peacock’s View

Gazing upon my majestic home

Sparkling colors fill my view

Walking down by waters’ edge

Flowers grow in brilliant hue

Calming peace envelop me

God’s beauty fill mine eye

Trees cast delicate shadows

On the water from the sky

Feathers touch this garden

Cover me with sparkles too

Make me a majestic bird

Feathered pink, green, and blue
