Koala Bear KB Cute Koala bear Not bear she’s marsupial Young lives in her pouch They’re not dangerous Small bears are herbivorous Vegetarian Bear of Australia Dines on eucalyptus leaves Loves mistletoe too Eucalyptus leaves Poison to most animals Not Koala bears Abundance of food Koala says more for me So he eats his fill Territorial Live in groups, but separate Need personal space Seldom drinks water Eucalyptus leaves hydrate Only in illness Sleeps throughout the day They’re nocturnal by nature Roam the trees by night Lives seventeen years Koalas have long lifespan Predators shorten Cute and fussy bear Have been made into stuffed toys Children love them all Now he sleeps at night Curled into a chubby arm Little girl’s pleasure Love Koala bears Many children hold them close In the dark of night
