Thoughts of Wisdom

 

 

Apples and oranges like different kinds of apples

Bluebirds of happiness brings us songs of bluebirds

Chaos in the workplace thrives on Chaos

Dance in the moment for a lifetime of dance

Everyone feels love when they love everyone

Forgetfulness of the heart is a soul’s forgetfulness

Giving natures thrive upon those who are giving

Halleluiah shouts from angels singing Halleluiah

Ice cream falling from a cone is a puddle of ice cream

Jesus is born, God’s angel told Mary to name him Jesus

Kittens in a basket are just a basket full of kittens

Love for oneself will bring us complete love

Memories kept are unending memories

Naps in daylight hours, makes us to want more naps

Over a hurt doesn’t mean a pain is over

Patience of the soul bestows a heart of patience

Questions without answers bring more questions

Rest in the arms of God is eternal rest

Snobs of today will tomorrow see snobs

Tipsy on alcohol leaves a body tipsy

Under eucalyptus trees are way down under

Victory of the war is many battles ending in victory

Whispered voices are often heard whispered

X-rays of the body are seen on lighted x-rays

Yesterday will soon be tomorrow’s yesterday

Zero equals none and none gets you zero

Very interesting work - reminds me a bit of a moebius strip and the "Zero equals none and none gets you zero" pulls your reader back to the first line. It reads (to me) like a jab at symbolism, and a call for grounding in unyielding, un-prettified truth. Hope I'm not reading you wrong here, but what do I know? I'm just a reader. Thanks

What's these: Serpentine and a Abecedarius? Anyways, I like the pattern down the lines and how you rearrange the words. This is really cute.

Applause! Applause! Nancy, I could pull several lines out of this wonderful write that can easily stand as poetic truths on their own, but it make this comment go on much too long, but I have to pull out my absolute favorite: "Love for oneself will bring us complete love" Yes, that is so true!
Excellent job of combining both last week's Abecedarius and this week's Serpentine verse forms in to this wonderfully wise write!
