My love has found rebirth

In our rendezvous retreat

 I whisper I love you

As you wash away life’s stain

I hear waves crashing

Against the sandy shore

My heart is beating wildly

Breathless in your arms once more

As day gives way to twilight

Shadows casting on the earth

Love lights up your eyes

Under the setting sun

Feelings erupting with self worth

My love has found rebirth

 

It was a night of love

Golden moonbeams fell

Around us when we kissed

Our passion filled the air

Oh I never dreamed

Love could be this sweet

Basking in the moonlight

Engulfed in your caress

I now wake renewed complete

In our rendezvous retreat

 

I awake in the morning

Dark clouds fill the sky

But all I see is love’s true light

Within your loving eyes

Arms warm and soothing

Tender lips like morning dew

Lost in love’s sweet desire

Rain bids the night adieu

As I whisper I love you

 

 

Angels have seen the love

Tears of joy they cry

Blotting out the sun

As their joyful teardrops fall

Cleansing all the world

With heaven’s summer rain

Soft as angels’ teardrops

Your love washes over me

You eradicate my pain

As you wash away life’s stain
