Kimo Wave Watching

Kimo Wave Watching

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Kimo Wave Watching

Master the art form of wave watching now

Each one moves in with the tide

Come from all directions

Do they originate from the same place?

From an undersea machine

Rotating with each wave

I sit on the shore; my eyes are amazed

Little ones big ones and more

Roll in slapping my toes

I could watch them until the end of time

Never answer this question

Where do the waves come from?

Loved this Nancy. I too have the love of watching the waves ebbing
and flowing.....so relaxing. Well done for the contest! ~ Helena

Very interesting view on waves. I like the theme - the question and exploration of their origination. Nice flow. Well done!

How beautiful! I like poets like you who first of all adhere to the rules of a contest, then submit the best they can write: poems that come from the heart and aim for the hearts of readers.
