Thy Hands

 

 

Into Thy hands oh Lord

My husband is restored

His life here on earth is done

Now living in God’s realm

With Jesus at the helm

Hand and hand they crossed the sea

God’s Son has set him free

He’s waiting there for me

Reunited with our son

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Into Thy hands oh Lord

Grant us Your great reward

One day we’ll be together

Bright shining as the sun

In the Light of God’s Son

Envelop me with Your blood

Your love now sets me free

Jesus Lord shine in me

Till I join Bub at the throne

I love your well-written poem, Nancy, but rules say for this contest it can only be one or two stanzas long. Can you limit the poem to stanzas one and either two or three? It's too good a poem not to be contest-considered.
