In Faraway Lands

In Faraway Lands

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
"

I'm a Pen for Peach

"

In Faraway Lands

Children dying in faraway lands

Young blood seeping into the sand

Don’t walk on by when you hear their cries

They are calling out for someone to dry their eyes

Put an end to war and bring peace

Only this way will the dying cease

God sent his son to bring peace for mankind

Still evil resides in the heart and mind

Spread the Gospel of the Son of Man

Don’t deviate from God’s Holy Plan

We are all brothers and sisters here

One day soon to the Throne we’ll stand near

To give an account of our war-like ways

Will you be in God’s arms or set ablaze?

Remember, each time you turned your back to pain

God’s wrath will pour down on you like burning rain

So fill your hearts with compassion for those so small

Steer your hearts far away from Satan’s thrall

Put an end to war, suffering and pain

God’s blessings will fall like a cool spring rain

Well said indeed Nancy. Its starts with us, the individual. Until humankind
set their hearts on the right path things will never be solved and war will
just go on and on and peace with never come.

Another fantastic write from your talented pen!
