When winter snows blanket the ground

Quiet all around

Purity here

There is no fear

 

Animal paw prints in the snow

Hop as they go

To burrow’s warm

In winter storm

 

Hunters follow prints in the snow

Buck grunts the WOE

Doe and fawn run

Safe from the gun
