Mockingbird Song

Mockingbird Song

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Mockingbird Song

Mockingbird hears my song

And sings along in tune

Every little whistle low

He mocks as if in rhyme

Sing little Mockingbird, chime

Mockingbird, little Mockingbird

Don't listen to the Wipporwill,

Bob White or Robin sing their songs

You'll get mine mixed up in theirs

My song will lose its special flair

Sing your mocking song

Carry my song to one and all

Until we bid the day goodbye

"He mocks as if in rhyme
Sing little Mockingbird, chime"

Such a clever little rhyme here, i like this. I love mocking birds myself

"Sing your mocking song
Carry my song to one and all
Until we bid the day goodbye"

What a cute way to finish this write off, These are wonderful words here and a very wel written write...Kim
