Twilight

Twilight

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Boulders, surf, and Na Pali Coast, dusk. Kauai island, Hawaii, USA (color)

Twilight

Twilight flickers away the hours ... as

Mr. Sun gives way to night

I feel the love permeating the air

With its sweet perfume

Twilight sparkles in your eyes ... and

Temperatures rise to heaving heights

Intertwined together we soar

High and emotions peak

Twilight fills my heart of love now .... and

forever blended into one

Hope for another twilight

each and every afternoon
