Goddess of Rain

Goddess of Rain

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Goddess of Rain

Carried on the wind

This goddess of rain

Injustice in the world

Enveloped with pain

My rain clouds form

In the midst of pain

Righting wrongs

Oh let me explain

My Goddess powers

Are now loosed

To save this world

To end the abuse

Jalea Baron

Goddess of rain

I stand for equality

Just like Bruce Wayne

Look for me in rain clouds

My aura glistens with light

You’ll find me surrounding

The moon by night

Over the rainbow

Where the air is clean

Looking down on the earth

To mountains so green

Whisper my name

If you’re in pain

Yes softly whisper

I need you Rain
