A Poem by alltheloveabove

Oh lover of mine, it’s now my time to muse.

A little too late, glorious memories escaping in vivid hues...

When I described to you, your immense measure

I painted you as paints seeping through, dominating pleasure

I am the anticlimax of our love story

I am the silence between each breathless confession

I am the repetition of all your past torments

Quickened words slurred into my ear

A conniver’s kiss that dragged you into a world of self doubts

Troubled, plunging abyss beyond what is yours to measure

The tale has ended, the actors disperse

Curtains tear down, shadows emerge, and I-

I cannot make out your face in the crowd.

Hi, Jina :)
I like this poem. Very pensive and reflective, with great word choice and effective imagery. I especially like the first line of the last stanza. Also pretty good use of typography in the second stanza, but I think it could be further reinforced if a fourth stanza in the same format as S2 was used. Regardless, I still think it's a very well-constructed piece. Sad though :( I don't think you need to feel this way. I hope things are looking up and working out! :D

"Do I regret it? Maybe I do. But end is inevitable" That's the best part about life; the end is always inevitable. It makes you cherish beautiful moments spent with people you love. The end makes every moment you're alive that more important. Don't regret anything. And if you do, go back and fix it :)
