Eden's Eye

Eden's Eye

A Poem by Nan
"

a sonnet, I believe unless I'm not quite on it

"

every night she lights the stars in my eyes

with the touch and feel of her beautiful soul

we meet in silvered clouds draped sapphire skies

it seems the wanton wish of desire born long ago

we are Shiva and Parvati in solemn contemplation

annointed mystery ssshhh She tames with invincible courage

moving mountains before love discovered Her beloved creation

and love's desire mastered is merely this: that She flourish

jeweled the ocean's sky breathes voices entoned harmony

and love's love is only that she wins you completely

who but magic and Her magician can design the heart so freely

and truth for any of us?  there is no other destiny

find you now the Eve, Goddess of Eden, giving birth

we are the children of paradise from the marriage of heaven and earth

Oh Nan, a breath of gentle fresh and perfumed air, its beautiful. I truly love the way you describe the goddess, the amazing creature we harbour deep inside caressing bellies into expression to all who come our way... I wish I could wake her up a bit, my inner goddess keeps taking naps. I really don't know much about structure so the form you have here simply looks neat to me, and neat always looks correct. So happy I stopped by.

This poem is beautiful.

'we are the children of paradise from the marriage of heaven and earth' - what a perfect ending.

Thank you for sharing.

I came across this and thought, how much I love it... your write poetically elloquent poems; but this is the true only the case of the genuine eye.....who are really interested to see?. In the case of all those viewers who didn't see: they are perhaps less talented to see.. the brilliace of this poem. I love you sweetie, I love the others, too, of course. I understand. Not everyone is talented. One cannot tell them.

ohhhhhhhhhh sweetie Nan.
I am in awe. I am. this is so beautiful. I am crying. This is compulsively neccessary, love and loyalty, guilt and honor of word.
you give us direction with this one. we (readers) are fallen angels and listening this wisdom from the sky, braving the flames to save our woman's love but who knows who knows.....and can't have.
this is embracing life, discovering humbleness, travelling the world's worst wars and having a life no longer wants.....my....
u take it all. love youuuuuuuu
